Case Study:
Insurance Client – Automation
A $1.5B+ insurance services company recognized their lack of defined strategic direction in test automation efforts, prompted by a lack of trust in automation results and failed attempts at adopting an overly complex framework. The company wanted to focus time and resources on ensuring test automation efforts realized true value during development and execution efforts.
QAsis Labs was commissioned to define and drive strategic QA direction for test automation. First steps included providing a thorough analysis of automation tooling, frameworks, test data management, execution environment and reporting. Based on those results, an automation roadmap was authored to drive implementation of improvements to regain business trust and provide higher business value. Improvements were immediately recognized following a tooling update, execution environment virtualization and custom website for reporting. These components combined to deliver needed strategic direction, efficiency and value visibility for the automation efforts on the project.
